Andy Laino, CFP®, CLU®, CLTC®

Andy Laino, CFP®, CLU®, CLTC® is the owner of Wealth Protection Strategies, with offices in Sarasota, Florida. As a fee-based financial planner, Andy and his team focus on the financial needs of high net worth individuals, their families, and their businesses. The group utilizes a total needs-based approach to determine what is in a client’s best interests, and where appropriate, offers insurance, investments, and other financial services tools to help clients implement their financial, estate and / or business plans.

Andy is a trainer, lecturer and speaker in the areas of estate planning strategy, business continuation planning, executive compensation design, retirement planning, and using insurance to protect assets from medical needs. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Andy operated a not-for-profit child welfare services organization. Yet it was a life-changing event during a “routine childbirth” that led him to help others through financial services.

Andy earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University, and he possesses several industry designations from The American College and the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards™.

Andy is a 20-year Qualifying Member with 6 years Top of the Table and 10 years of Court of the Table level of the Million Dollar Roundtable, which is an independent association of life insurance and financial services professionals, who demonstrate professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct and client service. He is a certificated financial planning practitioner and a licensee with the Certified Financial Planner™ Board of Standards, a graduate of the American College’s Chartered Life Underwriter program, a member of the Financial Planning Association’s National and North Florida Chapters, a member of the Northeast Florida Estate Planning Council, a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

Andy is active in his church and has served as a business mentor through the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. He is married to Wendy Adams Laino and they have two children, Emily and Drew. When Andy is not working you can find him mentoring other professionals through industry study groups.
